Happy Summer, WHF PA!!!!

Hope you are keeping cool and carrying on!

We have all been experiencing a more difficult environment for affordable housing in the last 18 months or so and the summer heat and humidity can certainly add to our low-grade malaise. We wanted to share some exciting news from WHF PA to perk up your day!

WHF PA has been able to hire an administrative consultant to help us keep the organization humming along and improving its administrative processes. We are so thrilled that Jennifer McCormick has joined us as our admin consultant and we wanted to share her email address with you. She is also monitoring our general WHF PA email address.

Jennifer lives in the Harrisburg area. She has a B.S. in Psychology and used that to work primarily in the mental health field. She also has a diverse professional background including working in Web Analytics, Data Analysis, Healthcare Reform, and Customer Service. She has been married for 6 years come September and has a 4-year-old daughter. She and her husband are expecting a baby boy in the beginning of November. Jennifer is an avid horse lover and has spent time volunteering for local rescues.

One of our WHF PA members let her know about our job posting and we were lucky to find someone able to jump in and try to help this volunteer-led effort get more organized. Please join us in saying “Welcome, Jennifer!! And thanks for joining us!!!”

Hoping all are having some fun working on exciting projects which will bring much needed housing to communities around Pennsylvania.
